HAURI joined "Network Security Fair 2006" which is a biggest security seminar in Korea on Oct. 13th. (http://www.kisia.or.kr)

Mr. Choi, (a head engineer of Lab in HAURI Inc.), had a speech with the following subject "New paradigm of malicious code and support".

Malicious code is spread usually by Email from 1999 to 2000. From 2001 to 2002, it used MS vulnerability and attacked packet. But from 2003, malicious code started to use mail, MS network, MS vulnerability and other possible ways, moreover perform various things by hacker’s command.

To get profit, malicious code monitored financial office and tried to get account numbers, so it is activated as Trojan horse and phishing of finance. Also, 0-day attack which uses the vulnerability of Web or OS is increased. Recently there is the malicious code which Virus and Trojan horse, which steals ID and password of particular site, are combined.
