Computer Anti-virus & Data Recovery program developing company, Hauri(CEO Seok Chul Kwon, www.hauri.co.kr) announced that they will proceed mobile Anti-virus co-development with mobile solution developing company, Hampex, Inc.(CEO Kyeong Seop Choi, www.hampex.com), and is planning to end the development in the second half of this year.

Hauri planned Anti-virus business for mobile Symbian OS by co-developing with Hampex to prepare for the upcoming Ubiquitous Security Aage besides for the expansion of new security market.

CEO of Hauri, Seok Chul Kwon said, " This co-development is for preventing from mobile virus attacks by applying ViRobot technology to Symbian OS." and added, "It means to prepare for the security foundation with Hampex at the wired/wireless integrating environment which various virus threats are predicted at the Ubiquitous Age. Therefore, when the development is completed, it will be available for Hauri to step on the new market of mobile Anti-virus sales."

Hampex owns a proprietary technology of mobile solution development for Symbian OS recognized by World major terminal manufacturing companies. Symbian OS is mobile OS chosen by European major terminal manufacturing company, and is taking around 70% of Korean market share.
